Retro Carnival Games are based in the beautiful village of Swanage in Dorset, and we currently offer a range of 24 different carnival games, all beautifully designed and handmade with sustainably sourced wood to the highest quality.
Our games are traditional and popular with all ages and most of our clients see a full return on investment on their first outing. All our games are full size, commercial quality and ready to play from just £175 each. The upright, free-standing games are around 4ft tall and have a hinged rear support and the table games are 4ft long, which sit on any table. All game accessories are included in the price.
These profitable games are ideal for event hire companies, carnivals, fetes, fairs, schools, fund raising and charity events. We also supply pubs, hotels and corporate event companies, offering one-off branding, company logo and text in full colour. Retro Carnival Games are easy to transport, around 10 kgs each and all fold flat so will easily fit a few in a car.
We are a family run cottage industry and pride ourselves on high quality, hand crafted products and excellent customer service. We welcome collection from Dorset as we love to meet our clients but can arrange delivery if required. Delivery with our courier is £25 per game mainland UK.

Roll a ball
This game is so much fun, score under 11 or over 30 with 6 balls to win. It’s harder than you think. It will sit nicely on any table and comes with all accessories. The game is 4ft long and 2ft wide.
Ring Toss
A favourite with the kids and adults. Toss the rope hoops and try to make them count. Comes with 4 rope rings. It stands 4ft tall and has a rear support to make it very stable.
Leap Frog
Another great retro game. Test your skill throwing the frog onto the raised lily pad. You only win if it stays on! It will sit nicely on any table and comes with all accessories. The game is 4ft long and 2ft wide.
Zig-zag
A great game of hand-eye co-ordination, moving the game up, down left and right to get the ball across the bridge to the end. So much fun for all ages. The game is 4ft long and 2ft wide.
splat The RAT!
A classic carnival attraction and fete game loved by all ages. It stands 4ft tall and has a rear support to make it very stable. It comes with all accessories including drainpipe, foam bat and weighted rat.
Star Darts
A favourite with the kids, an exciting Hand Bow is used to shoot safe sucker darts to try and land them on the stars on the dartboard to win a prize or just for fun. It stands 4ft tall and has a rear support to make it very stable. Hand Bow and darts included.

Another great retro game. Test your skill throwing rope hoops to get a high score with Table Quoits. It will sit nicely on any table and comes with all accessories. The game is 4ft long and 2ft wide.

An amazing shooting game. Score over 13 with 3 darts to win. This game does require adult supervision due to the use of a toy crossbow. Recommended for ages 12 yrs up with adult supervision. Super cool Crossbow and darts included.
cornhole
Another great retro game played at ground level. Test your skill throwing beanbags into the hole or compete with someone else. The game is 4ft long and 2ft wide and comes with a set of 4 beanbags.

Everyone loves “Higher or Lower”.. A simple and fun game for all ages. It stands 4ft tall and has a rear support to make it very stable. It comes with all accessories.

Another great game of hand-eye co-ordination, roll the ball along the alley to knock over as many skittles as possible. It sits on any table and comes with all accessories. The game is 4ft long and 2ft wide. Comes with 10 wooden skittles and ball.

Another classic and a great game for everyone, roll a coin down the launcher and try to land on a red square. It will sit nicely on any table and comes with all accessories. The game is 4ft long and 2ft wide.
Hole in one
A fun golf game that sits on the floor. It is raised at one end so if you miss, the ball comes back. . The games is 6ft long and 2ft wide and comes with adjustable putter and ball.
Shuffle pucks
A very popular game, simple to play but requires a delicate touch. Slide the roller pucks along the playing board into the score zone or try and knock your opponent out! 1 or 2 player game.

Monkey mayhem
Very popular with the children. Throw the coloured bean bags through the holes in the monkey forest. Freestanding game, 4ft tall and comes complete with a set of 4 beanbags.

HOok a duck
This tabletop game is a huge hit with the youngsters. 4ft wide and sits on any table. Comes with 15 weighted ducks and 2 fishing rods, simply add an inch of water and you are good to go!

How quickly will I see a return on my investment?
Most of our clients see a full return on their investment on their first outing with the games. All you need is a school fete, fair or event and people will flock to play the games.
When will I receive my order?
This depends on what time of year you make your purchase. It always gets busier before and during the summer season but usually we have a turnaround of 2 to 3 weeks. All of our games are handmade to order so please contact us to discuss your timescale.
What kind of payment do you accept?
We are happy to accept payment by Bank Transfer, Credit/Debit Card or Cash.
Are Retro Carnival Games made in the UK?
Yes, all of our games are handmade by ourselves here in Swanage, Dorset, UK.
Can I have my company logo on the games?
Yes absolutely, many of our clients ask for this service. We can incorporate your full colour company, school, charity logo or website address. Prices start from only £25 per game. We would require the logo as a high resolution .png file with transparent background.
How big are the games?
All of the free-standing games are around 4ft tall by 2ft wide and fold flat for easy transport in a car or small van. The table games are 4ft long by 2ft wide. The average weight is around 10kgs per game so no heavy lifting.
What are the game boards made from?
The games are made from high quality wood and exterior ply, they are strong and stable and will last for many years. All the wood used is stained and treated with quality fittings.
Who buys your games?
Everyone from independent traders doing fetes and fairs to make some extra income, to professional event hire companies, charities, schools PTA’s, fund raising and promotional marketing companies.
What is included in the price?
The price includes all the accessories required to operate the game as shown in the image. The colour of some accessories may vary due to current stock availability.
